Tracy Goldie has been director and principal optometrist at Ballantine Goldie since 2011. Tracy cares passionately about her patients, and has gained a strong reputation for delivering a very high standard of service, combining her skills and experience with an outstanding attention to detail. Tracy believes in a more personal approach that lets patients access all the advantages of the latest technology, while being treated with care and consideration.

Gwen Homer
Following on from Mr Ballantine’s retirement in 2021, Ballantine Goldie have been delighted to welcome Gwen Homer to work in the practice on a regular basis. Gwen has worked with the company as a locum for over 10 years but is now one of our permanent optometrists. Gwen brings with her a wealth of experience and a high standard of patient care. As a Gullane resident herself she is a familiar and welcoming face to many of our patients.
